SEO & social preview
Control how your page looks in search and when shared.
How it works
Set a page title and meta description for search previews, plus an Open Graph image for social and chat previews. The editor also stores a keywords field, but a meta keywords tag is not a reliable ranking signal. A visibility toggle requests that search engines do not index the page.
These fields are rendered in the published page. Search engines decide when to recrawl, and social apps can cache old previews, so a changed title or image may take time to appear outside knit.bio.
Set it up
- 1
Fill in preview fields
In Settings, write a specific page title and description and add an OG image (1200×630). Use the keywords field only as an optional label, not a ranking shortcut.
- 2
Choose search visibility
Leave indexing on if you want search engines to discover the page. Turning it off requests no indexing; it does not password-protect the URL.
Tips to get the most out of it
- A strong OG image dramatically lifts click-through when your link is shared. Treat it like a thumbnail.
- Write the description as a benefit, not a label ("Free presets + my gear list", not "My links").
